DON JAZZY HANDS OVER HIS AWARD TO SARZ

The maverick producer is at it again. His philanthropy and large heartedness knows no bounds. Last year, at the build up to the Headies, he announced that he shouldn’t have been nominated at all for the ‘Producer of the year’ award category as he felt another producer, Samklef, deserved the prestigious award.


This time, the Mavin producer has bequeathed his ‘Producer of the Year’ award which he won at the NEA 2012 in New York, to another talented but largely unsung producer, Osaretin Osabuohien a.k.a. Sarz.

Don Jazzy emerged winner of the award in a rich list of producers that included the Trybe Records producer Sarz, as well as Shizzy, Samklef, Jesse Jagz and Cobhams Asuquo.
