SAD STORY

TALES OF THE 4 UNIVERSITY STUDENTS WHO WERE UNJUSTLY KILLED.

We’ve heard different versions of how those UNIPORT students were burnt alive. Whichever of the stories is the true account of what really happened there is still no justification for what was done to those poor students who were beaten to death and burnt for alleged stealing.
They were not tried, they were only judged. There was no hard evidence against them, but they were burnt alive as if they were animals. It could have been anybody; all someone needs to do is shout ‘thief! ‘, get a few other supporters and everyone would believe the person in question actually stole. It was bad judgement even if those guys were guilty. It is murder!

We demand justice for Ugonna, Ilyod, Tekana and Chidiaka; the four UNIPORT students beaten and burnt to death in that village called Aluu.

Reports say Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi has mandated the Police to fish out those involved in the gruesome killing of the UNIPORT students.

I don’t care what they stole. They didn’t deserve to die like that!

Unfortunately, some people disagree. They think the boys got what they deserved. What does anyone have to do to deserve that kind of cruelty? If those who burnt those guys are not found and made to pay for what they did, I fear that they can do worse things, and people living around them are not safe. I wonder how some people could even stand and watch them burn. I got the video, but I couldn’t watch. Yet some people were right there watching fellow human beings burning. Can you imagine that? Do you think they deserved to die like that because they stole a few gadgets?
