Bivan agreed to a two-year contract with the Kano team last week.
The former FC Taraba midfielder told media that he could not resist the offer of joining Kano Pillars for the coming season, as they will also compete in the 2013 Caf Champions League.
"I've signed for Kano Pillars ahead of the new season and it is a two-year deal. They are a very big club with so much ambition and I'm happy to join them at a time they are also preparing to compete in the (Caf) Champions League.
"I'm here to win trophies with the club and I believe we can achieve greater things together," said Bivan.
