TRUCK KILLS 11 IN NIGER

11 persons were killed in an auto crash involving a commercial passenger vehicle and a truck at Farin-Doki Junction, along the Minna-Suleja Road in Niger State , this evening.
Among those who met their untimely death was a staff of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), Paul Jacob, his wife and two children.

Our sources learnt the accident occurred at the junction when the speeding truck collided with the car conveying passengers from Minna to Suleja.

Confirming the development, the state Sector Commandant, David Usman said the FRSC staff, who died in the accident was transferred to the New Wuse command and came to Minna to pick his wife who had just delivered their second child.

“Paul Jacob was our staff and among the 11 that died. He came to Minna to pick his wife and children to his new place of posting when the accident happened,” he said.
