} A newspaper vendor in the town of soweto, where Mandela once lived holding up today's paper bearing birthday wishes.
} Students at a johannesburg primary school offered prayers for Mandela's health.
} Well-wishers gathered outside the heart clinic where Mr Mandela has been undergoing treatment.
} Some school students at phetein high school, began Mandela's day by singing Happy Birthday song to the man regarded as the father of modern South Africa.
} In cape town, people lit candles for Madiba.
} South Africans were encouraged to donate 67 mins of their day to volunteer work, to mark Mandela's. 67 yrs of public service. Four of Mandela's grandchildren set an example, working on a garden outside pretoria.
} Even present South African's president Jacob Zuma was at the hospital where Mr Mandela is, to mark his predecessors 95th birthday...*Very Awesome I say!
} Riders in france weren't left out as they gathered by a giant poster of Mr Mandela.
} Mandela's Image was displayed on a billboard in New York, along with birthday greeting.
