Sources say that one woman was killed, and five kids were injured. Police spokesman could not be reached to confirm the casualties.
Only two days ago, a bomb blast occurred at a beer parlor in Doruwa area, a stone throw from the state ministry of works killing four people.
In recent days unknown gunmen have been attacking local beer joints and entertainment spots like beer parlors and brothels in Nigeria's northwest, such attacks are the hallmarks of the islamist sect Boko Haram.
However, the sect has not claimed responsibility for recent attacks.
